Car died…

So I decided to go to the NJMVC today to finally get ny NJ license. Was running out of gas so got off in Fair Lawn to get gas. Pulled into the gas station, but was on the wrong side. Went to turn the car on and it wouldn’t start. Tried to push start, but there wasn’t enough speed to do so. Now I have to leave at the gas station for the mechanic to take a look. I hope it’s the starter and not the engine. I wanted to use this car for the kids. We’ll see what happens today.

7 months 10 days

it’s been 7 months and 10 days since the birth of Roslyn and Liam. Each day has been filled overwhelming joy and happiness. Every day is a learning experience, there’s been a lot of stumbling along the way, but i think that’s what parenting is about. Nobody has the right answer the first time around, and each person has their own style. Each parent needs to find their own style that fits their situation. Linette and I are still finding out what fits out family best, and I think we’ll be working on that for many years to come. It sounds like challenging task, but its a task that I think we both welcome.

Watching Roslyn and Liam grow is probably one of the most exciting things that we will ever do.

Yesterday’s Ustream coverage of the Tsunami warning

I ended up removing the Ustream, IRC, and social stream from my blog because of reports of abuse and malware.
Now that the Tsunami warning has been cancelled throughout the Pacific Rim please go to traditional media outlets for information.

time flies

Friday February 5th, Liam and Roslyn just turned 4 months.  It just seemed like yesterday we were in that operating room listening to both of cry as they were born, and holding both of them for the first time.  That is the happiest moment in my life.

Four months later we’re taking them to get their third set of vaccinations, and oh how they have grown. Roslyn born at 4lbs 13oz, and Liam 3lbs 13oz now weigh in at 12 and 13lbs respectively.  Liam is turning over from being on his little tummy, Roslyn is starting to make more sounds and both are showing facial expressions.  Now matter how much they keep us up at night, just seeing them smile and their attempt to communicate with you, is fulfilling enough.

No love is stronger than that between a parent and their child.

I love you oh so much Roslyn and Liam.

wordpress updated

just updated my wordpress blog to version 2.9.1. I really should thoroughly read the README’s before upgrading. Anyway, upgrade complete and it looks like its running fine now.

Going to be a busy year

January is coming up to end fast and there’s so much to do. We’ve gotten through the baptism, we got all our vendors lined up, invitations just came, and now its payments and then the big our big day in April.
This year will also be our first full year as a complete family. Last year we were so thankful for 2 beautiful gifts that we are blessed with. This year we look forward to celebrating our new life with them as well as expressing our love in front of the eyes of god and our friends and family.
This year is going to be exciting and challenging.

Year’s End

So much has happened this year. It’s going to take a little bit to recall all that’s happened.

Happy Birthday Justin

OK, so I’m a day late.  We had a great time at Chuck E’ Cheese for Justin’s birthday  It was also the twins’ first real appearance in public. It was nice to see the twins’ see their first cousins.  Pictures to be posed on flickr shortly.

soaked

Thank god for a good umbrella that doesn’t flip over in the wind.

Jamba juice and good oatmeal definitely keeps me up for the day, but way too pricey.

Anyway, at least the weather got better and the commute home was fast.

Oh yeah. heard the best news today, my brother bought my dad a plane ticket to come here for Christmas to see his grand kids. yay Randy!!! Thank you so much, it means a lot to me.  I’ll repay you back somehow.

Good night all.
