I guess I’m growing up
Was giving advice to a colleague today as to what he should to improve himself at his job. It was quite simple, all he has to do is to do his job, and how up on time. I thought about my own career and I know how he feels. A former CTO once told me that if they stop talking to you, they’ve pretty much given up on you, but if they’re still talking to you, they’re giving you room to improve. Pretty good advice that I passed to him.
Today
Today didn’t go as planned so far. Woke up late for a bike ride, so slept in instead. Wanted to see how the Alpha-GPC worked, guess I will try tomorrow. Definitely feel more awake, hopefully taking this along with Piracetam will help with my memory and cognitive skills.

easy day today
worked from home today. took it a bit easy. still productive though. spent some time with the kids and got fruit ninja kinect 2. kids seemed to like it a lot. went to moe’s for a late dinner so it was nice day/ evening all around.
hoping to get to ride in morning so i hope that it doesn’t rain too hard tonight.

kids are progressing nicely in school, moved up to Kindergarten
New bike
started racing
new job
less stress
Liam is now enrolled in tennis lessons and we didn’t push him to do it!
Goodbye Brownie
On December 9, 2014 we said our last goodbyes to Brownie. He has been with us for 12 years. My heart is broken, it weeps, it sobs, it aches. He was much more than a pet, he is family. He brought so much joy and laughter to everyone he met. He was also there during our tough times always laying his head on us when he knew something was wrong.
Good bye little man. I love you so much and I miss you terribly. I hope you are in happy and running around in doggie heaven.

Nexus 9
Just got a Nexus 9, just a little something for me from my profit share. Device is pretty nice. Clear display using the nVidia Tegra K1. Bummed that the Nook app is broken, hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.
Also borrowing Google Glass from work. I can honestly say that I like the device. Easy to take quick pictures and video. GPS/ Navigation is much easier and accurate.
More later as I am still laying in bed and need to get ready for a doctor’s appointment.
