Month: July 2004

After 7 months of rehab, my Uncle Ben decided to go for a walk, which was to be his last.  I don’t know all the details, but from what I was told during his walk he fell and hit his head causing massive bleeding and swelling inside his head.

I wish there was more I can do for my Mom, my aunt, and my cousins.

My Uncle came to the U.S. for the first last June.  I’m glad though that he had a chance to come to the U.S. to see what it is like here, and that his almost 20 or so years of petitioning and applying for a visa wasn’t wasted.

My dear Uncle Ben, may you find your way to the gates of heaven and find eternal rest and peace.

Well its been almost a month since my last blog… again. Anyway, not much going on here.

School update: Got an A on my environmental science class, and an A on my Introduction to Business class, which gives me a 4.0 GPA for Summer Session I, giving me a cumulative GPA of a 3.26. So far so good.

Right now I’m in the middle of Accounting I, got a 91 on my first exam and will be taking the exam 2 tomorrow. I can see why people say that accounting is hard, and i can see why its not hard. Let me explain, Accounting is hard if you just sit in the classroom, listen but don’t do any homework. However if you do the homework, its really not hard. On the flipside, you need to understand how money moves around and be able to think in abstract ways, since all we’re doing is intangible. Just my 2 cents.

Thought I’d throw this:
